NEWDIGATE PARISH COUNCIL UPDATE December 2022
LITTER PICK
We allocated a date for a Litter Pick in the village on Sunday 20th November, our Councillor Phill Crutcher co-ordinated the event and provided all the equipment such as litter pickers, bags. It was lovely to see so many of you supporting this initiative especially the youngest of our volunteers out with their family who did any amazing job.
ENERGY EFFICIENCY GRANTS
People living in hard-to-heat homes and on lower incomes could receive grants to improve insulation and install renewable technology. Low income Mole Valley households with low Energy Performance Certificates can check if they are eligible by calling 0800 783 2503 or by visiting www.actionsurrey.org. Applications should be made as soon as possible, as funding is limited and installations needing to be completed by March 2023.
AUTUMN WINTER DUTIES
Please remember the seasonal duties of hedge cutting and ditch clearing at this time of year. A plea to remember that ditches are for water only, and not garden waste.
