Annual Meeting of the Council 13th May 2024 8pm
The Annual Meeting of the Council will be held on Monday 13th May starting at 8pm.  The Election of the Chairman and Vice Chair will be voted on for the coming year, as well as Committee members for both the Planning & Finance Committee.

Planning Enforcement
The Parish have seen numerous sites being developed without the relevant planning permission over the past few months or even years and recognise that this is most disturbing for the immediate neighbours and of course the local wildlife!  Of course, we are not alone and many local villages in Mole Valley are dealing with the same planning issues.  In the first instance please do report it via the Mole Valley Website portal providing as much detail as possible with supporting photos/evidence.  This will keep all planning breaches centralised and you will receive a confirmation email with appropriate reference number whilst it is being investigated further.

Surrey Wildlife TrustHelp the hedgehog!
Hedgehogs are disappearing as fast as tigers are worldwide. There are now thought to be fewer than 1 million hedgehogs left in the UK!  Send us your sightings using our easy online form so we can create a hedgehog map of Surrey and better understand why they have disappeared and how we can help them. www.surreywildlifetrust.org/wildlife/helping-wildlife-home/hedgehog-hotspots
Hedgehog highways – Cut a small hole in the bottom of your garden fence to provide a corridor for hedgehogs to move between gardens. They can travel up to 2km a night!
Cut the chemicals – The majority of a hedgehog’s diet is made up of invertebrates such as beetles, caterpillars and worms, so avoid the use of insecticides to help provide food for hungry hogs and attract these natural pest controllers.  It is also important to replace slug pellets with environmentally friendly alternatives as hedgehogs will sometimes eat slugs and may be inadvertently poisoned.
